Race Evening
At the Village Hall....Pre-recorded races are shown on a large screen….punters are encouraged to place bets at the ‘tote’ before each race commences…it’s up to you to choose the winners. Thankfully not a weather dependant event so looking at a date in early Spring.

Quiz Night
At The Red Lion....Date yet to be decided however a great evening to be had for those whom want to hook up with friends, enjoy a beverage or two & show off your general knowledge!

Golf Day
At Goring & Streatley....Depending on the weather we’re currently looking at the tail end of April going into May, likely to be a Friday. Morning meet of bacon roll & hot drink, followed by 18 holes of play, complete with a light lunch.

At the Club….Again, all dependant on the weather, a voluntary tournament will run alongside. So, a burger or hot dog to enjoy with live entertainment! A warm balmy Summer event.

Newbury Races
At Newbury Racecourse....Choosing an evening meet so those of you working a hard day, a great opportunity to unwind, have fun and enjoy those winnings. Dates currently available are Tuesday 24th June & Thursday 3rd July.

The Boodles
At Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire....An opportunity to enjoy a relaxing day, watching grass-court tennis in the English summer sunshine. This intimate tennis event, set in idyllic grounds has become one of the sporting highlights of the Summer social season and it is not to be missed! Dates currently available are Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th,  Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June.

Junior Silent Disco
At the Village Hall....For those not familiar with Silent Disco’s;  people dance to music listened to on wirelessheadphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing. Bizarre and fun, worth trying if it’s only just the once.

Easter Egg Competition
At the Club……Junior Tournament combined with an Easter Egg Hunt.  All Ages welcome.

Cheese & Wine Evening
At The Red Lion....Hosted last year, the evening was sold out. This event will be held again towards the tail end of 2014.
Please email to express your interest in any of the events. An early response would be appreciated so dates and venues can be confirmed. More information (dates/times/costs, etcetera) will be released preceding all events via email and here on the website. With your participation, enthusiasm and commitment we continue to be a great little club. Many thanks in anticipation of seeing you at one or two, maybe more of our events.
